Ryan Specialty announces key leadership appointments in international underwriting segment

Ryan Specialty, an international specialty insurance firm, has announced key leadership appointments within its international underwriting segment, Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers International (RSUMI).

Ben Purkiss has joined as Head of Business Development for RSUMI, where he will focus on identifying new opportunities for the company’s international operations.

He brings over a decade of experience in the UK and European insurance markets.

Graeme Rayner has been appointed as the company’s first Chief Underwriting Officer for International, with nearly 30 years of experience in specialty insurance underwriting.

In this newly established role, Rayner will oversee underwriting protocols and governance for international MGUs.

Vicky Lefevre has also joined the firm as Senior Vice President, Head of HR International, a newly created role. Lefevre brings over 20 years of HR expertise in the insurance industry, further strengthening the leadership team.
