Ryan Specialty hires former AIG exec as chief retail distribution officer

Brokerage Ryan Specialty Holdings Inc. announced Thursday it hired Shawn Yingling to its specialty underwriting segment, Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, to serve as chief retail distribution officer.

Mr. Yingling previously worked for American International Group Inc. as the alternative channels distribution leader for North America, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Prior to working at AIG, Mr. Yingling was the president of Glatfelter Healthcare Practice, a division of York, Pennsylvania-based Glatfelter Insurance Group, his LinkedIn profile said.
