Ryan Specialty unit names president, CEO of marine and energy

Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, a unit of Ryan Specialty Holdings Inc., announced Monday that Eric Quinn has been promoted to president and that it hired Mark Engel from RB Jones as CEO of its marine and energy line.

Mr. Quinn, based in Chicago, was promoted to executive vice president of capital and product strategy in 2024 and joined RSUM through the acquisition of All Risks in 2020. As a result of his promotion, RSUM CEO Miles Wuller will separate president from his title, the Chicago-based brokerage said.

Mr. Engel, based in New York, joined RSUM from RB Jones, where he served as senior vice president and managing director, according to his LinkedIn profile.
