Sarah Murrow to succeed James Daly as CEO of Allianz Trade in Americas

Allianz Trade has announced changes to its regional leadership teams, with James Daly, CEO of Allianz Trade in the Americas, set to retire on June 30, 2025, with Sarah Murrow, currently CEO of Allianz Trade in the UK & Ireland, will succeed him on July 1, 2025.
This appointment is subject to standard regulatory approval. Murrow’s successor in the UK & Ireland will be announced at a later date.
Daly, who has led Allianz Trade in the Americas for nearly a decade, will retire after 22 years with the company.
He joined Allianz Trade in 2003 as Commercial Director for the UK & Ireland, later taking on leadership roles, including heading the Northern Europe Commercial teams. In 2012, he became Group Commercial and Distribution Director, before moving to the US in 2013 as Commercial Director of Allianz Trade in the Americas. He was appointed CEO of the Americas region in 2015.
Murrow has been with Allianz Trade for two decades, starting in North America in Client Service, Commercial Underwriting, and Strategic Account Manager roles.
She then became Regional Head of Broker Management in 2011. After five years, she was appointed Global Head of Commercial Underwriting & Product Development in Paris. From 2017 to 2021, she served as Regional Head of Market Management, Commercial Underwriting & Distribution for Northern Europe, before assuming her current role as CEO of Allianz Trade in the UK & Ireland in 2021.
