Sedgwick names president of casualty group

Sedgwick Claims Management Inc. on Monday announced it has appointed Andrea Buhl president of its casualty group.

It is a new role combining casualty and managed care lines of business, according to a spokeswoman.

Ms. Buhl, based in Memphis, Tennessee, has held numerous leadership roles at Sedgwick over the last 15 years. Most recently, she led the managed care line of business for four years. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner and was named among the Business Insurance Women to Watch in 2018.
