Send names Laura Wathen as Chief Financial Officer to support global growth

Send Technology Solutions Ltd (Send), a provider in the insurtech space, has named Laura Wathen as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as the company prepares for its next stage of global growth.

Wathen previously held the CFO role at fintech platform Funding Xchange, where she played a central role in securing the company’s 2024 Series B funding round, backed by Barclays and Foresight.

Her background includes experience across investment banking, venture capital, and private equity, followed by senior finance positions within high-growth startups and scaleups.

She has successfully guided multiple businesses through Series A and B funding rounds, bringing a strong foundation in financial strategy and growth planning.

At Send, she will be responsible for overseeing financial operations worldwide, managing relationships with investors, and shaping the company’s capital strategy. She will also lead efforts to build scalable financial systems to support Send’s continued expansion into key international markets, including North America.
