Sikich collaborates on launch of MGA advisory service

Chicago-based technology consultants Sikich said Wednesday it has collaborated with KASE Insurex Consulting to launch MGA Compass, an advisory service for startup and established managing general agents.

MGA Compass services include business planning, carrier readiness, and technology selection, implementation and optimization.

MGA Compass has been adopted by its first client, InsureMEP, which is building an MGA focused on risk mitigation in commercial real estate by identifying and analyzing the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire and life safety infrastructure.

Craig Caryl, founder and CEO of InsureMEP, said in a statement the MGA Compass platform has proven “invaluable.”

Sikich and KASE also plan to launch an informational video series in partnership with InsureMEP to provide “practical insights” for aspiring MGA founders, from business planning and regulatory considerations to insurer partnerships and technology selection.
