Skyward names president of captives and specialty programs division

Skyward Specialty Insurance Group Inc. said Tuesday it has hired Corey LaFlamme, formerly with The Hartford Insurance Group Inc., as president of its captives and specialty programs division.

Mr. LaFlamme succeeds Kirby Hill, who was named chairman, captives and specialty programs.

East Long Meadow, Massachusetts-based Mr. LaFlamme most recently was head of programs at The Hartford, where he worked for 20 years.

As chairman, Mr. Hill will focus on business development, key account relationship management, key strategic matters and mentoring.
