Sompo promotes Jasmine Chan to SVP Ceded Reinsurance APAC

Sompo, a global provider of commercial and consumer property and casualty (P&C) re/insurance, has appointed Jasmine Chan as Senior Vice President, Ceded Reinsurance, Asia Pacific (APAC).

In this role, Chan will coordinate with Commercial and Consumer underwriting leads across APAC, while also overseeing market and broker management in collaboration with the global ceded reinsurance team.

She will remain based at Sompo’s APAC head office in Singapore.

Chan brings over three decades of regional underwriting and reinsurance experience in APAC to her new role.

Having spent the last 23 years at Sompo in various senior leadership roles, including Chief Underwriting Officer, she has gained extensive knowledge of the firm’s product offerings and expertise.
