SRS agrees to buy captive manager

Strategic Risk Solutions Inc. said Monday it has agreed to acquire captive manager Robus Group from The Ardonaugh Group.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Robus Executive Chairman Steve Quinn and more than 30 employees will join SRS Europe.

Robus, based in Gibraltar and Guernsey, provides management services to captive insurers, open market insurers and reinsurers, brokers, managing general agents, ILS fund managers and other corporate entities.
