Swiss Re hires former AIG global trade finance exec

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has hired former American International Group Inc. executive Marilyn Blattner-Hoyle as global head of trade finance in its global credit and surety unit, effective Aug. 18.
Ms. Blattner-Hoyle will lead origination and underwriting activities across the trade finance portfolio, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, part of Swiss Reinsurance Co. Ltd., said Tuesday.
Based in Zurich, Ms. Blattner-Hoyle will report to Andreas Hillebrand, global head of credit and surety.
Ms. Blattner-Hoyle was most recently global head of trade finance at AIG.
