The Hartford appoints Stephanie Lynch as Head of Ceded Reinsurance

The Hartford, a provider of insurance and financial services, has appointed Stephanie Lynch as Head of Ceded Reinsurance.

Lynch brings 15 years of industry experience to the role. She joined The Hartford in September 2023 as Cyber Underwriting Officer, where she focused on strategy, growth, and streamlining the company’s cyber portfolio.

Previously, Lynch served as Head of Reinsurance at At-Bay and as Vice President – Treaty Reinsurance at Safety National. She also spent seven years at Arch Re, most recently as Underwriter – Professional Lines.

In a recent LinkedIn post, Lynch said, “Over the past nearly two years, serving as The Hartford’s Cyber Underwriting Officer has been an incredible experience—one that provided me with meaningful visibility, leadership opportunities, and a chance to shape our go-forward cyber strategy and integrate it across the enterprise. I’m grateful for the support, collaboration, and growth during that time. Special thank you to James Rhyner, RPLU and Anthony Dolce for the trust placed in me to build something new and showcase it across the enterprise.
