Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK), a global specialty insurer, has announced the appointment of Lucy Fraser as Cyber Risk Analyst.
The appointment supports TMK’s continued expansion of its cyber risk offerings at a critical time, following a series of high-profile attacks—particularly against the retail sector, including the April 2025 attack on large British retailer Marks & Spencer.
To combat rapidly evolving cyber threats, TMK continues to scale its offering to help clients proactively identify and manage risks, ultimately preventing malicious activity.
Fraser brings nearly a decade of experience to the role. She joins TMK from the Association of British Insurers (ABI), where she most recently served as Senior Policy Advisor (Cyber and London Market), advising members on cyber policy requirements in the London Market and leading the ABI’s engagement with the government on key sector issues.
Prior to that, she worked as a Policy Advisor at the City of London Corporation, where she led on economic crime and cyber policy analysis.
Laila Khudairi, Head of Cyber at TMK, commented, “Cyber insurance coverage has evolved past being an indemnity only policy. It is a partnership with our clients, where we help them reduce their exposures and navigate the fast-changing world of cyber risk.
“The advent of AI is equipping an even larger number of criminals with the ability to build exploits efficiently. Lucy’s expertise will further enhance our market leading offering to clients and help them stay one step ahead.”
Fraser added, “Cybercriminals have evolved and specialisation is now the norm. Hackers are now focusing on specific stages of the cyber kill chain with multiple groups working together to find weaknesses in a company’s defences. It’s truly alarming how quickly malicious actors are growing their networks and operating at a huge scale.
“In my work at the ABI, I was impressed by the significant impact of TMK’s cyber resilience work. The risk mitigation capabilities are a key part of why I am so excited to join the team as it looks to build on its world leading approach to cyber resilience partnerships.”
