Trisura appoints Richard Grant as President & CEO

Specialty insurer Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company (Trisura) has announced the appointment of Richard Grant as President & CEO, in addition to his role as Chief Underwriting Officer of Trisura Group.

Grant has been with Trisura since its founding in 2006, starting as Senior Vice President of Specialty Insurance Solutions. He most recently held the position of Chief Operating Officer before his promotion.

Moreover, Grant has held the role of Chief Underwriting Officer of Trisura Group for almost a year.

Prior to that, he spent five years with the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, where he was a member of the PLUS Educational Committee. He also held key roles at Lombard Insurance and Travelers Guarantee Company of Canada.

In a recent LinkedIn post, the company said, “Richard has been with Trisura since inception and has played a pivotal role driving our growth and success.

“Under Richard’s leadership you can expect much of the same from us, a team of empowered experts focused on providing solutions and creating exceptional experiences and outcomes.”
