Trium appoints former AmTrust cyber exec as head of product

Hartford, Connecticut–based Trium Cyber U.S. Services Inc. said Monday it has appointed Jeffrey Batt, former head of cyber strategy and large risk at AmTrust Financial Services Inc., as head of product, a new position.

Mr. Batt’s previous positions also include cyber insurance practice leader at M&T Bank Corp.

Trium is the first entity approved by Lloyd’s to launch a monoline cyber syndicate, the company said.
