TrueNorth names president

Trent Tillman has been promoted to president of TrueNorth Cos. LLC, the Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based brokerage said Monday.
Mr. Tillman succeeds Jason Smith, who remains CEO.
As president of TrueNorth, Mr. Tillman will lead the company’s 400 employees and retain his responsibilities as executive vice president of the brokerage’s transportation division.
