U.A.E.-based International General Insurance Co. Ltd. said Friday it intends to complete its previously announced merger with U.S.-based special purpose acquisition firm Tiberius Acquisition Corp. within two days.
In a statement, IGI said its registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission had been declared effective and the merger would proceed subject to satisfaction of the requisite closing conditions and approvals.
On closing of the deal, IGI will be domiciled in Bermuda as International General Insurance Holdings Ltd. and will trade on the Nasdaq market under the ticker symbol IGIC, according to the statement.
