Vaccine maker hires Marren as risk management director

Vaccine maker Novavax Inc. in Gaithersburg, Maryland, has hired John Marren as senior director, global risk management.

Mr. Marren headed risk management at biopharmaceutical company CSL Behring until May, before joining Line Slip Solutions Inc. as a consultant.

In 2012, Mr. Marren was named Risk Manager of the Year.
