Vantage recruits excess casualty chief

Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. has hired veteran underwriting executive Lorraine Seib as head of U.S. excess casualty, the Bermuda-based insurer announced Tuesday.

Morristown, New Jersey-based Ms. Seib was most recently chief underwriting officer at managing general underwriter Synchrono Group Inc., which does business as SynchronoSure.

Previously, she held senior underwriting positions at Aspen Group Holdings Ltd.; XL Catlin, which is now part of Axa SA; and Travelers Cos. Inc., among other insurers.

Private equity-backed Vantage, which launched in late 2020, is headed by longtime industry executives Greg Hendrick and Dinos Iordanou.
