Verisk enhances claims management with EagleView assess integration

EagleView, a provider of aerial imagery and insights, and Verisk, a provider of data analytics and technology solutions, have announced the integration of EagleView Assess into Verisk’s well-known Xactimate and XactAnalysis platforms, which are commonly used in property claims management.

EagleView Assess utilises autonomous drones that are simple to operate to capture accurate and consistent property imagery, precise measurements, and AI-driven damage detection.

The platform also streamlines workflows to expedite insurance claims and document storm-related damage, allowing for more accurate assessments of the necessary repairs.

As a result of this integration, roof reports and imagery gathered through EagleView Assess will now be available within Verisk’s Xactimate platform, which calculates repair and reconstruction costs for residential and small commercial buildings.

Additionally, the integration extends to Verisk’s XactAnalysis platform, which tracks claims data in real time to detect errors, monitor progress, and improve performance, ultimately helping reduce processing costs.

For policyholders, this integration enhances the claims experience by enabling quicker resolutions. It simplifies the scheduling of roof inspections with insurance carriers, and the imagery provided by EagleView Assess offers an impartial record of the damages. This helps minimise the need for follow-up inspections and supports faster decisions, ultimately assisting in closing claims more promptly.

With this new integration, Verisk customers can now request an “EagleView Assess Roof” directly from Xactimate and XactAnalysis projects. Once the order is processed, EagleView will upload the 3D Roof Measurements, the corresponding Sketch file, and the images used to generate the measurement report into the user’s project.

Additionally, custom status notifications can be configured, allowing users to receive updates and review crucial claims handling details.
