Vermont names director of captive insurance

Christine Brown has been named to succeed Sandy Bigglestone as director of captive insurance at the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation in Montpelier.

Ms. Brown has served as assistant director since 2016 and prior to that was assistant chief examiner. She joined the captive division in 2003 as an examiner. 

Ms. Bigglestone was last month named to succeed David Provost as deputy commissioner of the captive insurance division. Mr. Provost is retiring at the end of August.
