Victor Insurance reveals global extended warranty services and appoints new MD

Victor Insurance, a managing general underwriter, has introduced Victor Extended Warranty—a new international service offering that supports insurers and reinsurers with underwriting solutions for extended warranty programmes.

This initiative covers a wide range of vehicles, including electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, motorcycles, scooters, light commercial vehicles (LCVs), vans, trucks, and tire protection.

As advancements in vehicle technology continue to shape customer expectations, there is a growing demand for warranty solutions that offer both consistency and adaptability.

Victor Extended Warranty provides insurers and reinsurers with a fee-based suite of services, including the design, implementation, and yearly review of underwriting and claims management frameworks. These services are powered by data analytics, enabling smarter risk management throughout the entire product lifecycle.

The launch builds upon Victor’s broader offerings in the automotive sector, including the established Auto Dealers programme managed by Victor Insurance Italy.

In conjunction with the launch, Sunjay Patel has been appointed Managing Director of the Victor Extended Warranty team.

Patel brings more than two decades of industry experience, including 14 years as head of underwriting at White Oak Underwriting Agency Limited.

Based in London, he will lead the strategic development and day-to-day operations of the team, which is composed of international underwriting and claims specialists with deep experience in the extended warranty sector.
