Volante Global appoints Peter Montanaro as Non-Executive Director

Volante Global, an international Managing General Agent (MGA) and Lloyd’s Syndicate, has announced the appointment of Peter Montanaro as Non-Executive Director, effective 1st July 2025.

In this role, Montanaro will work closely with Martin Reith, Executive Chairman of Volante Global. He will also join the Volante Global Group Board and serve as Chair of the FCA regulated UK entity, Volante International Limited (VIL), subject to regulatory approval.

Montanaro brings over 30 years of London market experience, joining from Lloyd’s of London where he most recently served as Market Oversight Director. In that role, he was responsible for safeguarding performance, integrity, and prudential oversight of the marketplace.

He previously served as Head of Delegated Authorities at Lloyd’s and chaired the Capital Planning Group (CPG), the Lloyd’s committee responsible for the approval of syndicate business plans and capital setting.
