Westfield Specialty International announces key appointments in PI team

Westfield Specialty International, a provider of specialised insurance solutions, has announced the latest in a series of senior appointments.

Pete Stephens has been appointed as the new Head of the Professional Indemnity (PI) team, while Hattie Hassall joins as a Senior PI Underwriter. Both will be based in the London office and will report to Mark Fellows, Head of Financial and Professional Lines.

Stephens brings over 17 years of experience in the London insurance market, having written both UK and international business.

He has previously worked with industry-leading companies such as Allied World, AIG, and RSA. Most recently, Stephens served as the Head of Professional Indemnity at Sompo International.

Hassall, who also joins from Sompo International, has more than a decade of experience in the insurance industry, having worked as a PI underwriter. Prior to her time at Sompo International, she was with Tokio Marine.
