Willis appoints Stephen Kyriacou as Head of Litigation & Contingent Risk Solutions NA

Willis, a WTW business, has appointed Stephen Kyriacou as Head of Litigation and Contingent Risk Solutions, and Senior Director of Transactional Solutions for North America.

In his new role, Kyriacou will focus on developing and implementing tailored insurance solutions for litigation and contingent risks. He will collaborate closely with corporate, private equity, law firm, hedge fund, and litigation finance clients to create products that address complex litigation, intellectual property, and regulatory challenges.

Kyriacou brings over a decade of experience in the legal and insurance industries, specialising in litigation and contingent risk solutions. He was the first professional in the insurance industry to focus exclusively on this area, a market he has been working to develop since 2019.

Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Senior Lawyer in Aon’s Litigation Risk Group, advising clients across industries on litigation risks and structured customised insurance policies. Before that, he worked as a Litigation Associate at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP.
