Willis hires former Triple-I chief insurance officer

Willis Towers Watson PLC said Thursday it has hired Dale Porfilio as senior director and head of personal and commercial lines business development for its Insurance Consulting and Technology business.

Mr. Porfilio, based in Chicago, previously was chief insurance officer at the Insurance Information Institute and president of the Insurance Research Council.

Prior to joining Triple-I in 2021, Mr. Porfilio was corporate chief actuary at Genworth Financial Inc. Before that he held various actuarial roles at Kemper Corp. and Allstate Corp.
