World Insurance Associates buys New York brokerage

World Insurance Associates LLC said Friday it has acquired Grandview Brokerage LLC, based in New York.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Grandview provides commercial and personal lines coverage with expertise in the health care, real estate and jewel industries.

Iselin, New Jersey-based World Insurance is the 27th-largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking.
