World Insurance hires former Aon managing director

World Insurance Associates LLC said Tuesday it has hired Joe Klein, a former managing director at Aon PLC, as an executive vice president in its national accounts practice.

Chicago-based Mr. Klein, who spent 38 years at Aon, will focus on World Insurance’s largest clients, the brokerage said.

World Insurance is the 28th-largest brokerage of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking.
