Wholesale insurance broker Worldwide Facilities LLC of Los Angeles has acquired managing general underwriter Hunt Jorgensen LLC of Maywood, New Jersey, Worldwide said in a statement Friday.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Hunt Jorgensen specializes in professional liability insurance and related risk management services, for accountants, consultants, lawyers including intellectual property lawyers, and registered investment advisers, the statement said. Hunt Jorgensen has nine employees and will take the Worldwide Facilities name, a spokeswoman said in an email.
The firm’s Maywood office will be led by Dave Collins, senior vice president for Worldwide Facilities.
Davis Moore, CEO of Worldwide Facilities, said in the statement, the acquisition “will enable us to expand upon our current offering in the marketplace.”
