WTW hires Pat Donnelly from Marsh

Willis Towers Watson PLC Thursday named former Marsh LLC executive Pat Donnelly as head of risk and broking North America, replacing Michael Chang, who left the brokerage in December.

Chicago-based Mr. Donnelly will report to Lucy Clark, president of risk and broking, whom he replaced as president of Marsh Specialty and global placement when she decided to join WTW in 2023.

Mr. Donnelly joined Marsh through its 2019 purchase of Jardine Lloyd Thompson PLC where he was CEO of JLT Specialty USA.

Prior to joining JLT in 2014, he was chief broking officer for U.S. retail at Aon PLC.

Mr. Donnelly is expected to join WTW in the second quarter.
