WTW makes executive appointments in Europe

Willis Towers Watson PLC on Wednesday named Hugo Wegbrans head of corporate risk & broking for Europe.

Simon Delchar was named global head of placement, succeeding Mr. Wegbrans. They report to Lucy Clarke, president of risk & broking.

Mr. Wegbrans succeeds Anne Pullum who was appointed co-lead of WTW’s corporate development function alongside Chief Financial Officer Andrew Krasner, in addition to her current role as head of Europe.

Netherlands-based Mr. Wegbrans will oversee corporate risk & broking’s operations throughout Western Europe. He joined WTW in 2021 as head of broking, leading the rollout of its brokerage platform worldwide.

London-based Mr. Delchar joined WTW last year from Marsh LLC as head of global portfolio placements and head of broking for Great Britain.
