WTW promotes Vila to head Midwest broker operations

Willis Towers Watson PLC on Thursday named Mark Vila head of corporate risk and broking for the Midwest, replacing Scot Housh, who is retiring.

Chicago-based Mr. Vila is currently the Great Lakes region leader for the business. He will take on his new role effective Dec. 1.

In 2014, he was one of Business Insurance’s 40 Under 40 Broker Award winners. The recognition program was later renamed the Break Out Awards.

Mr. Housh has held senior roles at WTW for more than 25 years and took on his current role in 2017.
