WTW’s Fannin named Head of Corporate Actuarial & CRO for Hannover Re UK Life Branch

Nicola Fannin has been appointed General Manager, Head of Corporate Actuarial and Chief Risk Officer for Hannover Re UK Life Branch.

Fannin is succeeding Rael Davis, who was appointed Chief Financial Officer for the Hannover Re UK Life Branch on 1 November 2024.

The executive brings over 21 years of industry experience to her new role. She is joining the reinsurer from WTW, where she has led the UK Actuarial Outsourcing division for the past five years.

During this time, she was in charge of overseeing a large team with responsibility for business development, client management, project leadership, and operations.

Fannin has held a range of actuarial and leadership roles throughout her tenure at WTW, having begun her career as an Actuarial Consultant for Life Insurance, later becoming Actuarial Lead for the outsourced actuarial function of mid-sized UK insurer.
