Xceedance buys claims business of CIS Group

Technology consultancy Xceedance Inc. said Monday it has acquired CIS Claim Services, the claims business of CIS Group Inc.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Xceedance said in a statement that the acquisition expands its claims platform to include alternative dispute resolution, litigated claims management and a wider field adjuster network.

CIS Claim Services’ 155 employees will join Xceedance, giving it 550 employees in the Americas and 4,000 worldwide, according to the statement.

Rebecca McKinney, CIS vice president of claims operations, will join Xceedance as vice president of claims, the statement said.
