XS Brokers introducing cyber liability division

XS Brokers Insurance Agency Inc. Thursday said it would launch a cyber liability division.

The Quincy, Massachusetts-based wholesale brokerage named Scott Burns, senior vice president, to lead the new unit, according to a statement.

Mr. Burns joined XS Brokers in 2018 as a cyber liability specialist, the statement said.

Eric Wirkus, president, said in the statement that cyber liability has emerged as one of the fastest-growing lines of coverage in recent years.
