Zurich names head of excess and surplus financial lines

Zurich North America said Tuesday it has hired Carrie Goesel, formerly with CNA Financial Corp., as head of excess and surplus financial lines.

The position is a new role at the insurer.

Ms. Goesel, based in Chicago, previously was vice president, national financial institutions leader, at CNA. Prior to that, she was senior vice president, financial institutions, at Chubb Ltd.
