Zurich North America hires head of large contract surety from Chubb

Zurich North America on Wednesday named former Chubb Ltd. executive Rob Walsh as head of large contract surety.
Mr. Walsh, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, will report to Chris Nolan, head of surety.
Mr. Walsh was most recently vice president and regional surety manager at Chubb for the San Francisco Bay Area and Pacific Northwest region. He joined Chubb in 1993 as a surety underwriter.
The surety business is part of Zurich’s specialties business unit, led by Kelly Kinzer.
