Zurich North America names chief risk officer

Zurich North America Tuesday named Ann Chai as chief risk officer, succeeding Colleen Zitt, who was named vice president of end-to-end process controls.

Schaumburg, Illinois-based Ms. Chai, who joined Zurich in 2010, was previously head of finance for U.S. middle market at Zurich.

Her responsibilities as chief risk officer will include: ensuring the company’s governance and risk management responsibilities are met, developing risk-related policies and meeting the company’s regulatory requirements, Zurich said in a statement.

Ms. Zitt had held the position since 2020.
