Zurich Programs, Origin launch hospitality comp product

Zurich Programs, under Schaumberg, Illinois-based Zurich North America, on Monday announced it is backing a workers compensation program by Origin Specialty Underwriters for restaurants and hotels in the small to middle-market space.

Under the agreement’s terms, Zurich will delegate underwriting authority to Rolling Meadows, Illinois-based Origin to offer the coverage through Origin’s distribution channels. Origin serves niche segments including hospitality, hotels, and service stations.
